Robotics Summer Camp

 

CyberTitans STEM Camps

Tuscarora High School

June 26 - 30

 

There are two separate summer camps being offered this year by Tuscarora High School’s Robotics team, the CyberTitans. Students will have the opportunity to enhance their STEM related skills by building robots to compete against. They will be working with student members from the robotics team and professional engineer mentors from the team.

Mindstorm

Arduino Robotics: Students will be using the microcontroller Arduino to learn the basics of programming and robotics. Students will be building, wiring, and programming an Arduino robot to perform various tasks. Each student will be receiving and keeping an Arduino and accessories required to complete the camp. This camp is designed for students currently in grades 7-8. Cost is $150 and is from 1:00 - 4:00.

 

LEGO Robotics: Students will be using LEGO Mindstorms to learn the basics of programming and robotics. Students will be building and programming LEGO robots to compete in various events. This camp is designed for students currently in grades 4-6. Students will keep various LEGO's used during the week. Cost is $120 and is from 9:00 - 12:00

 

All enrolled students will also receive a CyberTitans STEM Summer Camp t-shirt. Each camp will also have the opportunity to learn about and drive the robot created by the CyberTItans that competed at the World Championship in St. Louis.
